Baldota Builders & Developers, a unit of MC Baldota Group, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data when you visit our websites, respond to our advertisements, contact us, visit our site office, or enquire about or purchase a home in any of our projects, including Baldota Summit, Thanisandra, Bengaluru.
For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and the rules made under it, Baldota is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy. We also comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules under it, and the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 where applicable.

By submitting your details to us, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described in this policy. You may withdraw that consent at any time (see Section 9).
2. Personal data we collect
We collect only the personal data needed for the purposes in Section 4.

We do not ask for sensitive details such as religion, caste, health or sexual orientation, and we do not use any such characteristic to decide who may buy a home.
3. How we collect it
We collect personal data directly from you, and in limited cases from trusted third parties:
- Our websites: enquiry, brochure download and site-visit booking forms.
- Social media advertising: lead forms on Facebook and Instagram (Meta), and similar forms on Google or property portals. When you submit such a form, the platform shares the details you entered with us. The platform’s own privacy policy governs what it collects.
- Direct contact: phone calls, WhatsApp, SMS, email and visits to our site or sales office.
- Channel partners and property portals: registered real estate agents and portals that refer you to us with your consent.
- Automatically: cookies, pixels and similar technologies on our website (see Section 6).
4. Why we use your data
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, or for legitimate uses permitted by law, such as completing a purchase you asked for or meeting legal obligations. We use it to:
- Respond to your enquiry and share project details, price sheets, floor plans and brochures.
- Call, WhatsApp, SMS or email you about the project you enquired about.
- Schedule and manage site visits.
- Process bookings, allotments, agreements, payments, registration and possession.
- Help you connect with banks or housing finance companies, only if you ask for a home loan.
- Send updates about our other projects and offers, where you have agreed to receive them.
- Measure and improve our advertising and website, including building audiences on advertising platforms.
- Comply with RERA, tax, anti-money-laundering and other legal requirements, and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
- Protect our rights and prevent fraud.
We will not use your data for a purpose unrelated to these without first asking for your consent.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed for the purposes in Section 4, with:
- Group entities: companies within MC Baldota Group, for handling your enquiry or purchase.
- Service providers acting on our instructions (Data Processors): our marketing and design agency, CRM and lead-management software, telephony, SMS, email and WhatsApp Business providers, website hosting and IT support. They must protect your data and use it only for our work.
- Advertising platforms: such as Meta and Google, to measure ad performance and reach relevant audiences. Where we upload contact details for this, they are hashed (encrypted) before transfer.
- Channel partners: only the partner who referred you, for coordinating your enquiry.
- Banks and housing finance companies: only if you request home loan assistance.
- Professional advisors: lawyers, auditors and chartered accountants.
- Government and regulators: including RERA, tax and registration authorities, courts and law enforcement, where required by law.
If our business is restructured, merged or sold, your data may transfer to the successor under the same protections.
6. Cookies, pixels and tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to work properly, understand how visitors use it, and measure our advertising.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage ad preferences in your Facebook, Instagram and Google account settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop some features from working.
7. Marketing communications
When you submit an enquiry, you authorise Baldota and its representatives to contact you by call, WhatsApp, SMS or email about that enquiry. This applies even if your number is registered on the National Do Not Call (DND) registry, and it is limited to the project and related offers.
You can stop marketing messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP to our SMS or WhatsApp messages
- Clicking unsubscribe in our emails
- Telling our sales representative, or writing to the Grievance Officer (Section 12)
We will act on opt-out requests promptly. We may still contact you about an active booking, payments or legal matters.
8. Retention, security and storage
Retention. We keep your data only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as the law requires.

If you withdraw consent or ask us to erase your data, we will delete it unless the law requires us to keep it.
Security. We use reasonable security safeguards, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, secure software providers and staff confidentiality obligations. No system is completely secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.
Where your data is stored. Your data is mainly stored in India. Some service providers, such as advertising and cloud platforms, may process it outside India. Any such transfer will follow the restrictions notified by the Government of India under the DPDP Act.
9. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Access: get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it, and the parties we have shared it with.
- Correction and update: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected, completed or updated.
- Erasure: ask us to delete your data, unless we must keep it by law.
- Withdraw consent: at any time, as easily as you gave it. Withdrawal does not affect processing already done, and may mean we cannot continue serving your enquiry or booking.
- Grievance redressal: raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
- Nominate: name a person to exercise these rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity.
To exercise any right, write to the Grievance Officer (Section 12) from your registered email or mobile number. We may verify your identity first and will respond within the time set by law.
You also have a duty to give us accurate information and not to file false or frivolous complaints.
10. Children’s data
Our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete it. Where a minor is a co-owner or nominee in a purchase, we collect their details only with verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian.
11. Other websites and changes to this policy
Our website and ads may link to third-party sites and platforms, such as property portals, Google Maps, Facebook and Instagram. Their own privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for their practices.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its “Last updated” date. For significant changes, we will notify you where appropriate.

We will acknowledge your request promptly and aim to resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
